Fitmom Okotoks is run in partnership by Candice Wyma and Carlie Nicol
Candice Wyma is a certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer and certified pre and postnatal fitness specialist. As well Candice has a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. Candice is a mom of three year old daughter and a one year old boy. Throughout her maternity leave she took part in many mom and baby fitness classes and loved how it made her feel and the best part is she could bring her baby and get a workout!
Carlie Nicol is a certified group fitness instructor, yoga instructor as well a certified pre and post natal fitness specialist. She is also a mom with a three year old son. After taking pre and post natal fitness over the past year and a half, she found that it has made the transition into motherhood smoother and feels back to her pre pregnant self! She has more energy to spend with her son and hopes to inspire other women to come and try out this great program!
We are excited to announce that Fitmom Okotoks will be offered as part of C&C Fitness starting this fall.
C&C Fitness will offer FitMom and Baby fitness and yoga as well as Fitmom 2 Be and Prenatal yoga.
If you are looking for classes to enjoy without your baby/child (child care available) C&C Fitness offers many exciting classes!
FITMOM and Baby- A great indoor workout for you and your baby (babies 6 weeks- 18 monts) you need a baby carrier for this class. If you have an older child they can go in our child care room during any of the morning classes.
FITMOM and Baby Yoga- Fitmom and Baby Yoga classes were created to give mom and baby a chance to bond and share the experience of Yoga. (babies 6 weeks- 6 months)
Prenatal Fitness/yoga- FITMOM 2 Be/Pre Yoga is designed for women wanting to stay healthy during pregnancy. The objective is to maintain a healthy and strong physical state for one of the most challenging 9 months of your life.

"Just wanted to send you an email to thank you for Fitmom. It's really great. I am not someone who has ever worked out much in the past or did anything like this. It was a big step for me to come because I am a bit of a "negative nellie" when it comes to my weight issues. I am a tad hard on myself from time to time so have a baby through me for a loop too.
Tthis week I was able to 5 pushups on the ground and hold a plank for almost 1 minute. Things are looking up plus I have met some awesome friends. I have lost a few pounds and inches.
